Jane Hudson Jones started her career as a Mental Health Nurse and later delivered Public Health CBT services. Jane is a qualified and experienced Coach with a Postgraduate Certificate in Coaching from Birkbeck College; she has worked with clients with addiction, anxiety, depression and many other life challenges. Jane offers a range of coaching genres, including executive; career; skills and performance; life; wellness.
Jane also holds MSc Management, and has more than 20 years’ senior management experience.
Between 2003-06 Jane ran a large and complex NHS Public Health service, shared by 8 Primary Care Trusts, designing and implementing a large-scale service transformation project. This meant that the public received more affordable and better quality care, delivered in ways that worked for them.
In 2006 Jane moved into the voluntary sector as a CEO, enjoying an exciting and rewarding leadership career. Her first role was to start up a brand new local charity, Radiomarathon, which continues to thrive and support young people with learning disabilities into education and employment. Jane held the posts of Director at Maytree, a suicide prevention charity, and CEO at Endometriosis UK. She is currently Co-CEO at United Way UK, part of the largest privately funded international charity in the world, where she works with a range of partners and investors across all sectors.
Jane is a member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC), maintaining codes of professional practice and continuing development. She is also Founder of the Small Charity CEO Support Network and is currently writing a book about management structure in small charities, carrying out research with a large group of charity CEOs. Jane maintains a keen interest in the NHS and is a member of the NICE Endometriosis Guideline Development Committee.
In her personal life, Jane is passionate about social justice and held office as a trustee for Belong London, a small but dynamic restorative justice charity. This passion extends to empowering women, and she is a volunteer mentor for young women through the Aspire Foundation. Jane has also been practicing Buddhist meditation daily for many years, and find this brings great joy into her life.
